Shannon is a communications professional with extensive experience in brand development, cause-oriented marketing, project management, and the strategies that make them successful. She leads creative teams through the execution of multi-channel web, print, and digital projects, most recently as Deputy Director of Marketing for the National Military Family Association, where she amplified advocacy and program efforts.

She is the granddaughter of two Marines, who both served meritoriously in World War II. That service inspired Shannon to spend the last 16 years working in the defense and government sectors. She has been recognized for her efforts supporting the service members, families, and leadership of the US Navy Blue Angels and Marine Helicopter Squadron One—the unit responsible for the helicopter transport of the President.

She has volunteered in community organizations, including the Junior Leagues of Oklahoma City, Pensacola, and Jacksonville, where she served two terms as Vice-Chair of Placement, Transfer Advisor, and led communications and corporate outreach efforts to raise initiative awareness and funding.

Shannon earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Florida State University and worked as a paralegal in the criminal defense, health care, and social services fields before moving into traditional marketing.
